Give One is the starting point of Klarna’s contributions to our planet’s health.
It’s an ambitious beginning with an even more ambitious horizon. Today, we start by enabling millions of Klarna users globally to track their carbon footprint, by making donating easy and transparent for everyone, and by investing 10 million dollars directly into high-impact projects. And we’ll keep building; action upon action, initiative upon initiative. Learning, iterating, and challenging ourselves at every step.
Because who knows what happens when we put our mind, heart, and wallet into making a tangible positive impact on the climate and for biodiversity?
We’ve spent the last 15 years mastering the art of transforming complex problems into ingenious, impactful solutions. Can we apply what we have learned to this, the greatest of all problems? Honestly, we don’t know. But we know we’re dead-set on trying, so we’ll find out soon enough.
From our app, to in-store, to Klarna online, we make shopping smoooth for 90 million consumers and 250,000 retailers worldwide. We’re launching Give One to walk the walk and fight the climate and biodiversity crisis.Visit klarna.com
The artist, actor, and philanthropist is joining the Give One initiative, pledging 1% of his investment in Klarna to impactful climate and biodiversity projects.
We’re donating $10 million of our latest funding round to the planet. And we’re making it easy for our industry to do the same.
We're setting targets to reduce our carbon emissions. By taxing our own carbon footprint and donating to climate transformation projects.
