Give One was launched in 2021 to illustrate that with one small step, you can inspire others to follow suit and unleash a movement. We are proud to present the first of many impact reports, and hereby want to share with you some of our favorite highlights from it.

Give One funding has gone to initiatives in 42 countries, covering four environmental causes and at least eight Sustainable Development Goals.

Here are a few main highlights made possible with contributions from Give One and Klarna:

  • The planting of over 2 million trees in the Andes mountain range.

  • The training of 41 Indigenous leaders as council members to pursue local environmental management.

  • The creation of 20 hectares of pollinator-friendly wildlife habitat in the United Kingdom.

  • The conducting of 921 patrols by rangers in Rwanda to monitor illegal activity that is harming biodiversity.

  • The providing of clean water to 5,000 households in Kenya during a severe drought.

  • The support to 5 environmental defenders who have faced imminent threats due to their work.

Community and engagement through Give One

As an individual, one may feel powerless knowing about the environmental challenges our planet is facing. But, by harnessing the collective will of 150M consumers and 450K merchants, we can have an immense impact together.

26,500 individuals have made donations since the launch of Give One. And we have collected over $325,000 in consumer donations since the launch of Give One.

They have shown their support and engagement through nine campaigns: Six always-on campaigns, one emergency relief campaign, one Earth Week campaign and one celebrating World Oceans Month.

So far, $16.5M has been pledged to over 50 organizations around the world.

While we are just getting started, we are so proud of the results we have achieved together, so far.
